Gorillas
Gorillas in my Midst
I have some great stories, but I’ve got a feeling that most of you would skip the words and go straight to the photos. If I get enough requests, I’ll add the stories. Until then, enjoy the photos of your cousins, the Gorillas.

Adam,
Hello! I hope that you will mention that you will be presenting at The Kingstad Gallery in Beaverton, Oregon on 2/19. I'm writing the press release for it this afternoon.
Your photos are spectacular. It may not be appropriate, but it would be great to see some of your gorilla images that night, too.
Best wishes,
Lora

Fantastic work, Adam. And yes, I want the stories too.
I'm in awe of the job you're doing on assignment and the range of your talents. Thanks for being our eyes there and opening up this window to Rwanda. I'm looking through and learning with each new post you provide.
Debra and I are very proud of you! Thanks for showing the folks there the face of a real American.

Wow! Amazing... how close are you to them when photographing?
Ditto on Mandy's comment ... tell the stories...And we want to hear them in person when you return. :-)

I love the photos of these 'cousins' of ours. Same genetic neighborhood as we live in - look at their eyes to look into the history.

Your photos are so intimate and they make me wonder if their hair is soft or coarse - I know probably a random comment, but that's what I was wondering when I started to look at them.

What wonderful faces the gorillas have. Expressive, contemplative,
and somewhat inscrutable. Your photos capture them so very well. The photo of the Mother and child is so touching. She is loooking directly at you as you snap the photograph saying, "Don't come any nearer, that's far enough." Thanks for these amazing photographs.

Adam, I'm in Steve Lawton's International Business class and have been following your website. I think the pictures are spectacular. I have also been reading the stories and would love to read about the Gorilla stories as well. Thanks for your great work!

You really capture gorillas in such a natural setting, either they really liked you or you must have been dressed like a bush! thanks for sharing this.

Adam, I'm soooo jealous the pictures are fabulous! My dream is to visit Africa and see silver back gorillas one day. Your trip, stories and pictures speack volumes about Rwanda it's culture and people and their plight to become self-sufficient. Tim and I are so glad you were able to join the "Team." The Freemans
